Elpedison at the CCS Capacity Building Workshop of Global CCS Institute

On the 25th of September 2024 Elpedison participated in the CCS Capacity Building Workshop, which was organized by the Global CCS Institute. Elpedison had the chance to present its involvement on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies in accordance with the company’s ESG targets, giving special focus on its participation in the European project HiRECORD. Under HiRECORD project, a small scale (max capacity 10 tn /day CO2) pilot carbon capture plant will be installed and operated in Thisvi power plant for 6 months, in order to test an innovative carbon capture technology using Rotating Packed Beds (RPBs) and an advanced solvent.
